Orenburg news!On the 8th of April there was held a meeting of the initiative group of parents of disabled children with representatives of the Orenburg administration. The meeting was due to appeal of the initiative group of parents of children with severe mental disabilities and RAS (РАС in Russian) to the city administration asking to initiate interagency coordination to organize the first educational apartment of living together in the region in February, 2014. The most important results of the meeting are: 1. Parents are invited to view a building from the mobile reserve of the city to find out the possibility of its usage as an educational flat; 2. The head of the city Orenburg said that the financial liabilities for the educational flat was beyond city budget capacity, but he`s ready to support parents` initiative to the governor of the region. We hope that the work on the issue will be advanced actively, and soon Orenburg children will have possibility of educational habitation! And we are proud of initiative parents! One more piece of news was creation of a brochure “Accompanied habitation in country living” by ANO TC SA “Mayak” on the basis of materials from the missions and experience exchange.
